I specialise in arts and culture, news and current affairs, and literary translation. But to be honest, my real speciality is versatility. Whatever your topic, I love diving into new worlds, understanding in depth, and checking every detail.

Language knowledge
I’m a native English speaker, educated in the UK. After more than 30 years in the Netherlands, I’ve gained in-depth expertise in Dutch language, culture, history and politics. What’s more, as a devoted language lover, I also speak fluent Portuguese, and have a wide knowledge of all things Brazilian.

My literary translation reflects the quality of accomplished writing. I recreate as closely as possible the experience of reading the source text, preserving nuance and stylistic effect.
